Go on a Pirate Water Taxi Cruise
If you want to enjoy the bay on Memorial Day weekend, you can spend your day on a Pirate Water Taxi Cruise. The cruises stay near the Tampa area and you can hop on and off at any of the stops along the Riverwalk and explore all of the dining and shopping options. There are several times all weekend long and each cruise will depart from the Tampa Convention Center dock. On Memorial Day weekend, military members can ride for free with the purchase of one full-price adult ticket. Going on a water taxi cruise will allow you to explore the city and enjoy the water all Memorial Day weekend.
Host a Barbecue
