#1 Children’s Board Free Tuesday

The Glazer Children’s Museum has free admission on the first Tuesday of every month from noon until 6 PM. Kids can explore the many exhibits designed to be interactive and educational. You can reserve your spot today!

#2 Wachee Springs State Park

In addition to exploring the natural beauty of Florida, visitors of Wachee Springs State Park can enjoy swimming in the natural Weeki Wachee Springs at Bucchaneer Bay. There are four water slides, a beautiful sandy white beach where you can sunbathe, or you can even go snorkeling in the clear spring waters.

#3 John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art

While there may not be a circus in town, you can always travel to Sarasota to see the John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art. Every Monday, admission to the special galleries is free! Kids can explore the art collection, including the circus museum. You can even go on an official tour.

#4 Saturday Morning Market

Find fresh produce for the next family meal at the Saturday Morning Market in St. Petersburg. There are many local farmers and artisans who sell their products. Additionally, there is always live music and crafts for customers to enjoy!

#5 Picnic in the Park

Pack a picnic and take the family to the Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park located on the Riverwalk. Not only can your family take in scenic views and play outdoors, you’re also close to amazing dining, shopping, and museums.
